Election of the Bureau

The five officers — the President and four Vice-Presidents — represent the five regional groups, with the presidency rotating among regional groups every year. In 2020, the election took place on 14 January. The following officers are elected by acclamation:

• President: H.E. Mr. Jukka Salovaara, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Finland to the United Nations
• Vice President: H.E. Mr. Sukhbold Sukhee, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations
• Vice President: H.E. Ms. Victoria Sulimani, Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of Sierra Leone to the United Nations
• Vice President: Ms. Eka Kipiani, Counsellor, Permanent Mission of Georgia to the United Nations

The Vice President representing GRULAC is still pending nomination.
